Traveling for business is a considerable part of many peoples lifestyle. Faced with fierce competition for business, taxis or even for coffee at the nearest Starbucks, life on the road can be hard. Competition, however, can either be invigorating or demoralizing depending on your preparation. Few overlook the importance of preparing to meet the clients needs, but many fail to do what it takes to ensure their mind and body are energized and performing full steam ahead. For travelers, optimizing mind and body begins before you leave for the airport.

There are several important packable items that can boost your quality of life on the road. The first step is to develop a packing checklist of the non-negotiable items that go into your suitcase or carry-on. While there are numerous possible items, the short list of Core Fundamentals for energizing your travel lifestyle are; a sixteen ounce water bottle, packable survival foods (energy/protein bar, baby carrots is a Ziploc, etc.), quality headphones with relaxing music, work materials as well as fun-only reading, and a picture of your family or favorite person.

Something as simple as having a written checklist can reduce stress and dramatically speed the packing process, ensure you are at your best and give you control in a sometimes crazy, busy world.

Andy Core is a professional speaker who helps busy people beat stress and live life with maximum energy and health. For more information call (479) 582-2639 or go to www.andycore.com.
